Here’s another topic that has a tendency to freeze designers and UXers in their tracks: estimating work for clients.

And I am here to tell you that this is completely normal: no matter how long you’ve been doing it, it’s not something you’ll ever really be 100% comfortable with.

So if the idea of estimating a project makes you nervous, that’s absolutely OK. 

But at the same time, that level of anxiety is entirely within your control — so I’m going to give you some rules and guidelines to take the anxiety out of the process.

Along with a method that  gives you the profound ability to control project scope and never again work on an unprofitable project.
